Project Description:
As part of the new construction of an ÖBB bridge over state road L270 and the Salzach river in Unterlend, two new bridge superstructures were erected for Track 1 and Track 2.

The bridge has a span of 58.0 meters and a total weight of 487 metric tons. In addition to the new construction, the project also included the demolition and professional disposal of the existing superstructures.

In the summer of 2019, the existing Stössingbach Bridge was renovated. The project included the dismantling of the old bridge structure, as well as the fabrication and assembly of a new bridge superstructure.
Special attention was paid to rapid implementation while traffic was ongoing and under confined space conditions, which required a high degree of logistics and precision.

For an infrastructure project by Verbund AG, two composite steel bridges with a span of 21.2 meters and a bridge width of 6.21 meters were manufactured and installed. The total weight of the structure is 85 metric tons.

The project encompassed all services from planning and manufacturing to corrosion protection and professional on-site installation.

In the fall of 2017, we were awarded the contract to manufacture a new bridge near Mayereinöd in Salzburg as part of the flood protection measures along the Salzach river.

The new structure was designed as a composite bridge. Precast TT slabs with external reinforcement were used in the transverse direction—a solution that allowed for both high slenderness and a short construction period. All steel components and the reinforcement were manufactured in our plant and provided with the initial corrosion protection.

The main girders, each 25 meters long, were transported to the construction site and welded there. A particular highlight was the lifting of the 50-meter-long girders using a 600-metric-ton crawler crane—an event that also attracted numerous spectators from the surrounding area.
