The Karsdorf cement plant in Germany belongs to OPTERRA Deutschland. Approximately 1.5 million metric tons of clinker are fired annually in two kilns at the Karsdorf site.
To meet the stricter requirements of the 17th BImSchV from January 1, 2019, the kiln exhaust gases must undergo additional denitrification.

Our company was commissioned to supply state-of-the-art environmental technologies for this purpose.
Our scope of supply includes two newly developed AutoNOx systems, a regenerative SCR plant, and all associated auxiliary units. Another important component of the project was the conversion of the two existing electrostatic filter systems.

Scope of Services:
Manufacturing, execution, assembly, and commissioning of:
• 400 t structural steelwork
• 100 t pipelines
• 100 t apparatus construction
