For the expansion of the Ötztal Cycle Path, the Ferdinand Cycle Bridge was constructed over the Ötztaler Ache in Längenfeld. The bridge has a span of 65.7 meters and was manufactured in execution class EXC3 according to EN 1090-2.

Due to the confined space conditions on-site, the 72-metric-ton structural steelwork was fully pre-assembled at an assembly site. Transport to the lifting point was carried out using special module transporters. The final positioning was performed with two mobile cranes.
