Mittersill Lift Bridge
In spring 2017, we were commissioned with the fabrication and assembly of the structural steelwork for a movable bridge over the Salzach river in Mittersill, municipality of Zell am See (Salzburg).
The lift bridge consists of six bridge subassemblies with individual weights between 38 and 48 metric tons, as well as four steel pylons, each weighing approximately nine metric tons. In case of flooding, the bridge can be raised by 1.80 meters.
