NCA Container- und Anlagenbau GmbH is a long-standing, family-run company specializing in structural steelwork, manufacturing, and assembly. Our teams realize demanding projects — from bridges and halls to complex industrial plants and custom air purification/RTO systems. We are looking for reinforcements for assembly, maintenance, and service assignments worldwide: tech-savvy metalworkers who enjoy traveling and serve as the primary on-site contact on construction sites and during service calls.
Your Responsibilities
As a Service Technician for Structural Steelwork + Plant Engineering, you are the link between the workshop, project management, and the customer. Your main tasks include:
- Assembly, installation, and commissioning of structural steelwork (e.g., bridge construction)
- Maintenance, inspection, and service assignments on our air purification systems (RTO/VOXcube etc.) and on customer-side systems
- Troubleshooting, fault rectification, and on-site repairs
- Reading and implementing technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Coordination with project management, clients, and subcontractors on the construction site
- Documentation of work, handover to customers, and follow-up of test protocols
- Participation in safety and quality assurance measures
Your Profile
We are looking for service technicians who bring practical experience, a sense of responsibility, and team spirit:
- Completed vocational training as a metal technician / metal fabricator / metalworker or a comparable qualification
- Experience in metal processing, structural steelwork, as well as assembly and welding (e.g., MAG)
- Willingness to travel for national and international assignments (assembly & service)
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and using common equipment (milling machines, lathes, drills, trolleys, lifting technology)
- Manual dexterity, a technical-practical mindset, and an independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team, reliability, and a customer-oriented demeanor
- Class B driver’s license or forklift license is an advantage
- Willingness to travel and flexibility; proficient English skills are an advantage
What We Offer
- Varied activities in the workshop, assembly, and service — national and international assignments
- Long-term perspective in a stable, family-owned company with flat hierarchies
- Opportunities for further training (e.g., welding certificates, special equipment and safety courses)
- Modern equipment, professional tools, and on-site team support
- Company vehicle / assembly allowances / expense policy depending on the assignment
- Salary: €3,009.80 gross / month according to the collective agreement, with a willingness to pay above this rate depending on qualification and experience
