Mittersill lifting bridge

An order on manufacturing and assembly of a steel construction for a moveable bridge over the Salzach in Mittersill, community Zell am See in Salzburg, was received by us in spring 2017.

Due the fact of the local conditions the only possible and realziable construction was a lifting bridge. The result of this project is the only traffic permitted lifting bridge in Austria.

The lifting bridge is consisting of six bridge assemblies with weigths between 38 and 48 tons, further more there are four steel pylons -each around nine tons. In case of high watering the bridge can be lifted up to 1,75 meters.

After finishing the bridge building Mittersill has got a new landmark.
