Ybbsbrücke

The bridge over the river Ybbs in Böhlerwek is a Composite structure. The height of the longitudinal member is between 2.02 m to 4.05 m and has a total length of 135 m. The width of the steel structure is 6.50 m. The longest span between the piers is 49.8 m.

The total weight of the steel structure is 335 tons.

Assembly and transportation to 24 pcs carrier segments, starting on the bridge piers. This was 14 tons of supporting and retaining structure necessary.

The heaviest part weighing 20 tonnes, had to be lifted to a height of 50 meters. For this, a 500-to-crane with full load was necessary.

The total installation time was 6 weeks.
