Mayereinöd bridge
In autumn 2017, as part of the flood protection measures along the Salzach, we received the order to build a new bridge near Mayereinöd in Salzburg.
The new building is a structure in composite construction. In the transverse direction prefabricated TT plates with external reinforcement were chosen to allow a large slenderness and fast construction time.
All steel parts as well as the reinforcement were manufactured in our factory and provided with the first corrosion protection.
The main carrier was transported in two parts, each 25m long, to the construction site and welded there. The highlight, even for many spectators from the surrounding area, was the lifting of the 50m long beams by a 600-tonne crawler crane.
