Skywalk Congresscenter Villach

Since the beginning of September this year, the Holiday Inn Hotel in Villach becomes connected with the Congress Centre through a 28.5 metres long glassy pedestrian bridge.

The company NCA planned, manufactured and put up this architectural steel construction. Since the transition was put together on 6.5 to 8.9 metres high stilts, it offers not only a pleasant transition, it also offers a wonderful view over the promenade of the Draustadt because of its glass covering.

The skywalk consists of two parts with a lenght of 17 and 11.5 metres and forms a walkable "L" between this two buildings. The bridge breadth measures 2 metres and the height measures 3 metres. Altogether. 12.500 kilogram of steel were obstructed within around one and a half months.
